About Us!

Our Family Farm in Montana goes back 4 generations of raising Jersey’s, Angus and long horns. Recently we have made our dream come true by adding Mini Highlands cows , Micro highlands cows , miniature highlands cows and High-parks to our herd. Our herd was part of our over 60 acre Farm. Growing up on an Organic vegetable farm before organic was “Cool” was a challenge. I have many hours selling vegetables on the side of the road in our small town trying to explain to the customers what organic was. After growing up in the country, its just in you. Its a way of life that is good for the soul. Even though I took it for granted when I was young, my husband and I moved our family of 5 back to the farm 25 years ago.

The reason we added Highlands and High-parks to our herd is obvious, they are the cutest cows in the world. We love our animals and they become part of the family. We have them right by our home and spend hours with them. We believe that the if you own a cow this cute, you should be able to pet it if you want to. We own 2 other businesses and understand how important the customer relationship is and will take the time needed for you to ask any questions you may have.

Our cattle are sourced selectively from across Australia and Scotland to ensure our offspring are from a strong line of genes, giving us confidence that the furry friend(s) that are joining your family are pure bred. Our cattle come fully vet checked, vaccinated and drenched.

We breed pure Scottish Highland miniatures, miniature Galloways and have more recently begun crossing the Highland with Galloways. We have hand selected these two breeds to ensure our cattle can make the perfect family addition in a range of climates. We have truly bought together two of the most docile, low maintenance breeds of fluffy cows for sale and available for everyone.

We started this mission to play our part in surviving this beautiful breed and as a means of bringing farm animals to those that do not have access to large parcels of land.

Above all of this though, we started caring for and breeding these miniature highland cows to teach our own children to connect with animals of all shapes and sizes and the responsibility that comes with caring for a furry friend. The Highland breed is renowned for being very ‘personable’ and loveable animals which makes these life lessons very easy and enjoyable.

We pride ourselves on our revolutionary approach to breeding.  The first of its type, historic genetic breeding program consists of breed-able cows/heifers; micro-miniature Scottish Highland cows, miniature White Park cows, and our micro-miniature Scottish Highland Bull, Ohno.

Calves are required to be picked up/delivered by 5 months of age.  If unable to do so, we are able to provide continued calf care for $5/day per head until pick up/delivery.

Calves are weaned at 4 months. The weaning process begins with the calf doing a 7-10 fence wean with its dam. This process is low stress for both cow and calf allowing the calf to wean naturally and calmly. The calf will then spend 3 weeks being handled, worked on the halter, socialized, groomed etc learning to trust and enjoy human interaction. My goal is that every calf leaves my ranch gentle and sweet, ready to be handled in their new home.

We require at least 50% non refundable deposit to hold a calf and a signed “ Cattle Sale Contract”. Full payment is due one week prior to shipping.
